Objectives:
Explain how social skills can affect overall cognitive development and how improving social skills can improve educational outcomes for our students.
Learn strategies that can be utilized tomorrow to build social-emotional skills based on two essential components of SEL: humor and metacognition (Metacognition)
Employ strategies to develop social reciprocity, self-regulation, an understanding of others and to help students be aware of how their behavior affects others.
