At 90 years of age, Shirley retired as LAASP's longest standing Board Member, Membership Chair and LAASP Word Editor.  She still volunteers and helps guide the five volunteers who have taken over portions of her legacy. Over a 40 year time frame, Shirley has held various positions including LAASP President, Treasurer, and Secretary.  She also held the CASP treasurer position at the same time as being treasurer for LACPA.
