Current Best Practices in School-Based Suicide Intervention: prevention and postvention strategies, crisis intervention, and responding to other self-injurious behaviors
This training will highlight the national, state, and county perspectives of suicidal youth in our schools. Mr. Lieberman will discuss self-injury, including classifications, etiology, and micro
and macro school-based interventions. Participants will also gain an understanding of current research regarding suicide risk factors, early warning signs, evidence-based interventions, risk assessment, and schoolbased postvention strategies.
